Paul Gladen is a leading thinker, researcher and advisor in the field of innovation in business. He specializes in helping customers leverage service orientation along with other approaches to enable organizations to creatively achieve their financial and customer objectives.

Paul challenges customers to realize the full potential of SOA, by helping them design “service oriented businesses”, where services provide the visibility and flexibility that enables insight and innovative action. His extensive and ongoing research into the trends and innovations changing the world of business and work, along with his ability to combine strategy, technology and financial perspectives enables him to identify fresh, creative, and commercially viable actions for growth.

Paul spent the first 14 years of his career with Arthur Andersen. Paul was a founding member, and the Partner responsible for operations, in Andersen's Center for Research & Innovation. He also played a key role in the development of the Global Technology, Media and Communications Industry practice there and lead strategy, business planning and performance management engagements for many leading high tech and communications clients. Paul is a frequent speaker and lecturer on innovation related topics. He also writes the “Chief Innovation Officer” blog.

Paul has a Masters degree in Mathematics from Oxford University, an MBA from Manchester Business School, and is a UK Chartered Accountant.
